I've been making music intermittently now since 1998. The peak years for me were from 1998 to 2000 and from 2003 to mid 2006. I've released 3 albums, all on my own micro-label, and performed at many festivals all around Europe, and a bit in the USA, and the south pacific (primarily New Zealand). I also have far more unreleased material than what is on these 3 albums. Some of which has now been compiled into two retro releases and another spattering of which can be found on this website.

I was half way through with my latest album, a collaboration between more than a dozen other musicians and vocalists, when I had to abandon everything and leave Amsterdam to travel around the world. My later work is trip-hop; semi acoustic / electronic. And my older work is more ambient, down tempo, IDM.

For my live performances, a lot of time is spent programming and developing my own custom interface. My goal is to execute as fluid and musical as possible: live real-time composition on the fly. Bringing in components, different keyboard sounds, percussion and the like as I glide.

I decided last year that I was going to offer all of my music now on my website for free. All 10 years of it. If you like the music, and you feel like supporting me, donations are certainly very welcome, but are by no means required.

If you like a certain track or album, please let me know too. I recently spent 3 years making music my number one passion- everything else in life came second, but there was so much energy being expended with some returns, but not enough it felt to be enduring. And with so many other concerns to attend to; not forgetting our urgent need to resolve dire earth-wide problems, I've felt compelled to move my attention elsewhere for now.

This is not to say I won't be playing again soon, this is just as possible. The one thing I can say about myself with any certainty is, that I tend to flow with my passion. And my passion generally takes me places I hadn't expected; including back to things I had left, and then pushes them further than the last time I paid my dear friend a visit. Keeping with the flow of the river of passion helps me to stay excited, and it helps to keep my work real, and me stimulated. For better or for worse. Like the radio dial, I turn in hopes of a tune.
